Macy Lewis

Macy Lewis

Licensed Funeral Director and Advanced Planning Specialist

Being involved in the funeral service industry since she was 16 years old, Macy’s passion for serving families began at an early age. She graduated from Cascade High School in the class of 2012 and then went on to graduate from Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Service in 2017. Macy became a licensed funeral director and embalmer, as well as a licensed life insurance producer in Indiana in 2018. Macy is currently enrolled at Indiana University Southeast and will earn a Bachelor of Applied Science with a focus in Leadership and Supervision.
Although the first in her family to be involved in funeral service, Macy enjoys helping families make thoughtful selections for the future, as well as support, knowledge, and resources after a death has occurred. Losing her mother suddenly at age 50 with no plans in place quickly became her “why”, encouraging Macy to serve families better and truly express the value of advanced planning to others. Macy has maintained knowledge over time and is passionate about walking alongside families as they are closing out final affairs, applying for veterans’ benefits, social security processing, and grief support.
When not working in the funeral home, Macy enjoys taking her boat out on the water, writing, attending Mass, going to livestock shows, and traveling. She resides in Hendricks County.
Macy is a member of St. Roch and St. Mark Catholic Churches, the Indiana Funeral Directors Association, The Wa-Pe-Ke-Way Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, the Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs- Crawfordsville Chapter, the Crawfordsville-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, and the Vermilion County Funeral Directors Association.
