Rita Marie Lieske

Mrs. Rita Marie Lieske, 84 of North Salem, Indiana, peacefully passed away on July 11, 2022.  Rita was born on March 8, 1938 in Indianapolis to Ivan and Mary (Newell) Hunt.  She married Raymond Lieske in 1958, a loving union that lasted until his passing in 2017.  Rita was a devoted homemaker and farmer's wife, and she and her husband were members of North Salem United Methodist Church.  

In addition to her beloved husband, Rita was preceded in death by her son, Ted Brandt Lieske.  She is survived by her son, Steve (wife Cheri) Lieske; her daughter-in-law, Kelly Lieske; her grandchildren, Wyatt Lieske and Allison (husband John) Duncan; and her great-grandchild, Ruby Marie.
 

Friends and family will gather at North Salem United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 4 pm to 7 pm.  The funeral service for Rita will be held the following day, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 10 am at North Salem United Methodist Church.  She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery following the service.
