Lloyd W. McCormick

Lloyd W. McCormick, 81 of Lebanon, Indiana, peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side on August 11, 2020 at Witham Health Services in Lebanon.  Lloyd was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Albert Franklin and Doris Mae (Marts) McCormick.  After graduating from high school, he married the love of his life, Linda McCormick, on January 2, 1959.  He then joined the Navy and was on the world’s first guided missile cruiser, the USS Boston.  He was a member of the N.R.A., loved animals, and enjoyed going fishing, working tirelessly on his yard, and riding horses.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by his sister, Georgeanna Sue “Susie” McCormick Miller.

Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Linda McCormick; his son, Jon McCormick; his daughter, D’Lee Worden; and his two grandchildren, Jenna and Logan.

Friends and family will gather on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the funeral home from 11am until the beginning of the funeral service at 1pm.  A graveside service will follow at Sparks Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society or any other charity benefiting animals.
