Kenneth Greene

Kenneth "Kenny" Greene, 76 of North Salem, Indiana, peacefully passed away on June 19, 2022 in his home with his loving family by his side.  Kenny was born on July 23, 1945 in Lebanon, Indiana to Elmo and Francis (Neff) Greene.  A Blue Devil through and through, he graduated from North Salem High School and went on to faithfully serve his country in the United States Army.  He married the love of his life, Joyce Crump, on January 26, 1968 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Kenny was a lifelong, devoted farmer's hand and also had a long career with Allison Transmission.  He enjoyed horseback riding and reading, was a member of the American Legion, attended Immanuel Baptist Church, and was a little league baseball coach.  

In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Greene.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce Greene; his sons, Corey (Diane) Greene and Kirk Greene; his brother, Dennis (wife Mary) Greene; his sister-in-law, Vicki Greene; his grandchildren, Logan (wife Sarah) Greene and Shelby (husband Anthony) Burdine; and his great-grandchildren, August Burdine and Eleanor Greene.

Friends and family will gather at North Salem Christian Church in North Salem, Indiana on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm for visitation.  A funeral service will be held for Kenny the following day at North Salem Christian Church, Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10 am.
