Julie Keller Obituary

Julie Anne Keller, 66 of Pittsboro, Indiana, peacefully passed away in her home on January 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Julie was born on July 27, 1955 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Ervin and Dorothy Harris.  She married the love of her life, Doug Keller, in Indianapolis in 1975. She was a loving homemaker and together they raised two wonderful children, Robin and Adam.

Julie volunteered for many organizations over the years. She started the Threshold Singers of Hendricks County chapter in 2016, where she and a small group sang for those on the threshold of life. She was a member of her church choir for over 40 years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and enjoying precious moments with her grandsons.

Julie is survived by her beloved husband, Doug Keller; her son, Adam (wife Julie) Keller; her daughter, Robin (husband Jason) Bryant; her brother, Mike Harris; her sisters, Sheila (husband Mike) Johnson and Kathy (husband Kevin) Goddard; and her three grandchildren whom she adored, Cameron Bryant, Kellen Bryant, and Harrison Keller.

A celebration of Julie’s life will be planned for a later date.

Julie courageously battled an almost 2 year fight with multiple myeloma. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center for multiple myeloma research.
