Jordyn Hord

Jordyn Hord, 23 of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on February 16, 2023.  Jordyn was born on July 17, 1999 to Sara (Hord) Guidry and Jeffery Wooten. He graduated with the class of 2017 from Brownsburg High School. He bravely decided to serve in The Marines.  Jordyn is known for his sense of humor, smile, readiness to seek adventure, making memories with friends, and will be missed by so many.  He was very competitive and extremely athletic. Towards the end of his journey, he enjoyed hiking in the California mountains with his dog (Kenji). He was very driven for success and was striving to be a millionaire by the age of 30.

Jordyn is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Theresa Hensley; maternal great-grandmother, Janice Hord; and paternal grandmother, Kennie Smeltzer. 

He is survived by his father, Jeffery Wooten; mother and stepfather, Steve and Sara Guidry; maternal grandparents, Donnie and Janice Hord; paternal grandfather, Bryant Wooten; brothers, Jeffery Wooten Jr, Jordan Wooten, Jaylen Paredes, Caden Hord, and Miles Guidry; sister, Zya Wooten; uncles, Joey Hord, Daniel Hord, Derek Pearson, and Joseph Wooten; aunts, Chrissy Hord, Toby Pearson, and Carrey Pearson; and many friends.

Friends and family will gather at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 pm.
