Helen Lonkay

Helen Lonkay, 76 of Avon, Indiana, passed away on December 24, 2022.  Helen was born on August 20, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Toivo and Mary (Sapusek) Lahti.  She retired from working as a secretary in law offices.  A big fan of the Pacers and of the Colts, Helen enjoyed watching sports on television.  

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Lonkay.

She is survived by her sisters, Margaret (husband Walt) Graves and Mary (husband Jim) Lenz; her three nieces; her one nephew; and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Helen's loved ones will celebrate her life privately.
