Gerry L. Haggard

Gerry L. Haggard, 73 of Avon, Indiana, peacefully passed away on September 30, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.  Gerry was born in Indianapolis on January 5, 1947 to Leo and Geraldine Whiteford.  On January 25, 1964, she married Ronald Haggard, a loving union that lasted until his passing in 2017.

Gerry is survived by her son, Robert Haggard; her daughters, Lisa (husband Bill) Myers and Tina Haggard; her sister, Sandra Peak; her five grandchildren; and her 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday, October 5, 2020 in Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home, 220 North Maple Street, Pittsboro, Indiana 46167, where friends and family will gather from 1 pm until the time of the funeral service.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in K of P Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana.

Memorial gifts have been suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
