Chad Ward

Chad Ward, of Indianapolis, IN died unexpectedly on June 27, 2021. Below are words from his loving family.

Chad was born on 4-3-81 in Indianapolis, IN to Gary & Susan Ward.  Chad will be missed by so many people that loved & cared for him.  Chad lived a life that only kept him feeling unworthy of love & success.  What Chad wanted was to live a simple & peaceful life.  Chad struggled his entire life with mental illness & addiction.  Chad really tried his best to overcome it, he was currently attending several meetings daily & trying to get into a rehab that would help him.  Unfortunately for us left behind it was his time to be called home to Jesus & to be with his Mom he desperately missed since she passed last May.   Chad had one of the biggest hearts of anyone you would ever meet.  Chad would help anyone he possibly could even though he was so broken himself.  Chad enjoyed animals, coins, cooking, fishing, hunting, jewelry & music.  If Chad has one request to honor his memory it would be to help your loved ones that are struggling with addiction and/or mental illness.  Chad would want us to enjoy each day no matter what, you never know when it will be your last.   

Chad is survived by Dad-Gary Ward & Sister-Heidi (Joey) Chaffin & 3 Furbabies-Charley, Happy & Small Fry.
Chad was preceded in death by Brother-Todd Ward (3 weeks old-1980), Grandparents-Herman Ward (1999), Helen Ward (2003) & Mother-Susan Ward (2020).  
Rest in Peace till we meet again!!!
