Steve was born on April 12, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Sandra Links and the late Mike Bealmear. On December 2nd, 1989, he was united in marriage to Michelle (Beck) Bealmear in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Steve and Michelle were blessed with two children, Quaye Bealmear and Savannah (Bealmear) Stambaugh, and devoted much of their lives to raising their family. Steve took great pride in supporting his children, spending countless hours at sporting events and traveling across the country. He especially cherished coaching his son Quaye throughout his wrestling career and traveling extensively for his daughter Savannah’s softball competitions.
In recent years, Steve found great joy in being a grandfather. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Leighton, whether at the pool or practicing softball, and cherished holding and bonding with his newborn grandson, Rocky. A true family man, Steve valued time spent with loved ones, enjoying pool days, family vacations, and shared moments together.
Steve had a passion for wrestling, fishing tournaments, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. Through his years of coaching youth and high school wrestling, he positively impacted many lives and will be remembered for his dedication, mentorship, and encouragement of young athletes.
Steve is survived by his wife, Michelle (Beck) Bealmear; his children, Quaye Bealmear (fiancée, Cassie Washam) and Savannah (Evan) Stambaugh; his grandchildren, Leighton Bealmear and Rocky Stambaugh; his beloved dogs Bonnie and Clyde; his mother, Sandra Links, and stepfather, Tom Links; grandmother, Joan Links; and his siblings, Jesse (Samantha) Links, Lucy (Steven) Pierson, and Michelle Bealmear, as well as several beloved cousins and many other close family members and friends.
