Norwood Gene Pritchett , 93 of Danville, passed away peacefully, June 5, 2023, in his home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Friday, June 9, 2023, in the New Brunswick Church of Christ , 6480 South State Road 39, Lebanon, where friends and family are invited to gather from 3pm until 8pm, Thursday, June 8, 2023. Burial with Military Honors at Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, IN, will follow the funeral service at the Church.

Born February 2, 1930 in Hendricks County, he was the son of Russell Pritchett and Dorothy (Fox) Pritchett. He graduated North Salem High School, where he actively participated in basketball and baseball. A US Army Veteran, he served at the end of the Korean War, and was stationed in Germany. On April 24, 1953 he married Alice McKee, and they had recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. A farmer all his life, he loved polled Hereford cattle, and was the first inductee of the Hendricks County Beef Cattle Association Hall of Fame. He was a member of the New Brunswick Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Alice, son Larry and daughter-in-law Becky (McGonigal); daughter Lana and son-in-law Robert Gallegos; and sister Joan Keck. Grandchildren: Jordan Pritchett, Shelby Marshall, Cody Gallegos, Kyle Gallegos; great grandchildren: Aria Rethmeyer, Axel Rethmeyer, Bowie McHugh, Ember Marshall, Asher Marshall, Peyton Gallegos, Connor Gallegos, Madison Gallegos.
