Millie Koopman

Millie Koopman, 82 of Danville, IN passed away peacefully September 13, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 23, 1943, at Fort Harrison in Indianapolis, Indiana. She completed her education in California, graduating from Mountain View High School. Following graduation, she returned home to Indiana.

Millie worked at Public Service for several years and later worked for Kiefer-Stewart in Indianapolis. It was during this time that she met her husband, Norm. They were married on December 23, 1966. Norm preceded her in death in 2018 at the age of 75.

She is survived by her daughters: Debbie Whitmore, Tina Koopman, and Robin Woodrum. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, along with other loving family members.

Visitation will be held at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home in Pittsboro, IN and will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm, with the service honoring Millie's life beginning at 1 pm.  Millie will be laid to rest in K of P Cemetery in Lizton, IN, beside her beloved Norm, following the funeral service.  

Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or to Phi Beta Psi Sorority of Pittsboro, IN in loving memory of Millie.
