Linda L. Walstead Behrens, 77, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and songs of worship.
She was born on April 25, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan. In 1969, Linda married the love of her life, Timothy Behrens. Together, they shared 57 wonderful years of marriage, building a life grounded in faith, devotion, and deep family bonds.
First and foremost, Linda was an extraordinary mother—not only to her own four children, but also to her two grandchildren whom she lovingly raised as her own, London and Josi. A devout Christian, she dedicated every moment of her life to her Lord and Savior. Linda possessed a true creative eye behind a camera lens, beautifully capturing every stage of life for her family and friends. In her later years, she gained international recognition as a passionate, exceptionally talented, and dedicated curator of multi-award-winning Coton de Tulear bloodlines.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Timothy Behrens; her four children, London I Behrens (Tamika), Sunday Behrens Luther (Timothy), Trevor Behrens (Stacie), and Troy Behrens; her six grandchildren, London II Behrens, Josephine Behrens, Jenna Schriner, Jadyn Behrens, Evan Behrens, and Aubrie Behrens; and her two great-grandchildren, Kameran and Hunter.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Traders Point Christian Church (6590 S. Indianapolis Rd, Whitestown, IN 46075). Visitation will take place at the church prior to the service, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. All are warmly encouraged and welcome to attend. Burial will follow at Brownsburg Cemetery in Brownsburg, Indiana.
In lieu of customary floral tributes or charitable donations, the family asks that you honor Linda's memory by saying a prayer and accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, ensuring that we will all one day be reunited together in His Heavenly Kingdom.

“Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped into the next room. I am I and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still… Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.”
— Henry Scott Holland (Saved on Linda’s computer and discovered by her grandchild while selecting photographs to honor her life)
