Lawrence Bailey

The following is an obituary written by Lawrence's loving family.

Lawrence Bailey, 82 of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Saad Hospice Care November 27, 2025.

He is survived by his daughter, Pat and granddog, Puppers, who he called Pup; his son, Rick (wife Chloe) and five grandchildren, Emma, Uriah, Isaiah, Noah, and Trinity. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Bettie Kelley and Sherry Conn; brothers-in-law, Sherm (Jr.) Stogsdill and Myrm Mitchell; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Preceding Lawrence in death was his wife of 41 years, Margaret; his parents, Clarence E. and Ruby; his brothers, Kenneth, Richard, Walter, and his twin, Lowell; as well as his sisters, Catherine and Marilyn Mitchell.

Per dad's request, there will be no public services, but he will be laid to rest in K of P Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Christian Church (2010 Liberty Church Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151) and Pittsboro Baptist Church (P.O. Box 582, Pittsboro, IN 46167) in loving memory of Lawrence.
