Lacy Leann Rust

Lacy Rust, 34, was born in Indianapolis, IN, where she grew up. Lacy moved to McMinnville, TN, in late 2018.

Lacy was beautiful, funny, kind, empathetic, smart, and understanding. She cared about people and always wanted the best for everyone. Lacy became a mother in 2017 with the birth of her daughter, Emma. Emma was her entire world, and Lacy devoted her life to taking care of her.

Growing up, Lacy enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was clever and knew how to be the funniest person in the room. She enjoyed connecting with people and sharing her stories. Lacy had the ability to reach people and make them feel understood; she helped others make their voices heard.

Lacy had a wonderful laugh that couldn’t help but make you smile. She loved makeup, TV shows, comedy, music, cooking, storytelling, and traveling. She was fearless; she would do whatever she set her mind to. She was tough and could move mountains. She told the best jokes just to make you laugh. She loved animals and always wanted to help people. Lacy was so full of love.

Lacy was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Rust, and all four of her grandparents, with whom she has now been reunited. She is survived by her daughter, Emma; her mother, Tracy; and her sister, Madison. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We will love and miss you always, our dear Lacy.

Funeral Services will be held at 12pm Friday, April 17, 2026, in Eric MD Bell Funeral Home, where friends are invited to gather with the family from 10 am until the time of the service. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery.
