Kelly Wilkerson Page, 44, passed away October 28, 2026, with her loved ones by her side. She lived a life filled with curiosity, adventure, creativity, and an unwavering determination to embrace the wonders of this world.
Kelly was born to Francis A. Wilkerson and Jackie (Little) Wilkerson. She grew up in Brown County, Indiana, where her inquisitive nature and adventurous spirit were evident from an early age. As a child, she had a way of making everyone around her notice things they'd overlooked before and appreciate the world in new ways. It was not unusual for her to bring snakes into the house and turn them into pets or convince her parents to stand in the woods holding a white sheet and light to attract insects for her to study. Her curiosity knew no bounds. She didn't know the words "I can't do that."
To Kelly, very little was impossible. If something interested her, she dove in headfirst with determination to figure it out. At just 10 years old, during the early days of home computers, Kelly was already taking them apart and putting them back together. That childhood fascination grew into a lifelong passion for technology, building her own computers, and online gaming.
Kelly graduated from Brown County High School in Indiana before pursuing her passion for culinary arts. Her first job during high school sparked an interest in cooking that would become a lifelong love. At just 17 years old, she attended Johnson & Wales University in Denver, Colorado, where she studied culinary arts. She later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in software engineering from Drexel University.
Kelly spent several years living in the South Lake Tahoe area, where she worked as a chef and embraced her love of the mountains and the outdoors. She married fellow Hoosier, Mike Page, and together they enjoyed the beauty and adventure of mountain living. Kelly especially loved snowboarding and spent countless days on the slopes in Colorado and California.
Eventually, a career change brought Kelly to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she joined Great American Insurance Company, where she was currently employed. Although her career took her in a different direction, her love of cooking never faded. In the early days of Twitch and Discord, Kelly even hosted a live-streamed Sunday afternoon cooking show, preparing meals and sharing her knowledge while chatting with viewers from around the world.
Kelly had many interests and talents, and her creativity extended far beyond the kitchen. She loved nature, hiking, traveling, snowboarding, and gaming. She made beautiful jewelry, tanned animal hides for sewing, and was always finding something new to create or learn. She was a talented planner with an incredible ability to take on projects that others might consider overwhelming, including home construction and renovation.
For the past four years, Kelly, along with her husband, Mike, and her brother, had been working on renovating her childhood home in Brown County, Indiana, where her parents still reside. The home, now more than 40 years old, became another project that allowed Kelly to put her many skills and determination to work.
Family was always important to Kelly, and those who gathered around her table were fortunate to experience her love through food. Holiday dinners were especially memorable, as she prepared elaborate, beautiful meals and delighted in teaching everyone how to pair them with the perfect wine. Though she was no longer working professionally as a chef, she never lost her passion for creating delicious meals for those she loved. Even in her final days, Kelly was sharing her culinary knowledge, giving a nurse a lesson on how to properly prepare a rack of lamb.
Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Mike Page; her parents, Francis A. Wilkerson and Jackie (Little) Wilkerson; her brother, Joseph Wilkerson, and sister-in-law, Candra (Turner) Wilkerson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Francis P. Wilkerson and Thelma (Tabor) Wilkerson, and her maternal grandparents, M.C. (Sam) Little and Elizabeth (Carter) Little.
Those who knew Kelly often remarked that, in her 44 years, she had lived more fully, experienced more, and accomplished more than many people do in a lifetime. She approached life with an adventurous heart, an insatiable curiosity, and the confidence to try anything that captured her imagination.
Kelly leaves behind a legacy of determination, creativity, laughter, and countless memories. She taught those around her that life is meant to be explored, that challenges are meant to be tackled, and that there is always something new to learn. Above all, she reminded us that the greatest measure of a life is not simply how many years we are given, but how fully we choose to live them.
Kelly will be deeply missed by all who loved her, but her adventurous spirit, her stories, and the many things she created and shared will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
