James A. Blackburn

Mr. James Alfred Blackburn, 60 of Danville, Indiana, passed away on February 23, 2026. James was born on January 8, 1966, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to parents James Blackburn and Margaret (Gossett) Craven. He had an uncanny memory, especially with his ability to remember important dates and details about one of his favorite things, good food. 

James was cared for by his dear friends, Amber and Jason Weisel, and he adored their dogs, especially their mini dachshund, Pebbles. In addition to his beloved friends, James is survived by his aunt, Jackie Santoro.  

James's life will be remembered and honored privately in his native Michigan. All are encouraged to keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of loss.
