Everett Lee Alexander, 85 of Avon, Indiana, peacefully passed away with loved ones by his side on April 22, 2025.

He was born May 27, 1939, in Brown Township, Brownsburg, IN. His parents were Dora and Raymond Alexander of Pittsboro. Survivors include wife, Wilma Jane Watson Alexander; son, Jeff Alexander (Sherri) of Avon; daughter, Linda Krampen (Jim) of Brownsburg; son, Brad Alexander (Lori) of Mound, MN; step-daughter, Samantha Robbins (Steve) of Newburgh; step-daughter, Amy Warner (Jamie) of Somerset, KY; and step-daughter, Amanda Green (Charles) of Avon; 14 grandchildren, Allison, Nick, Connor, Maridee, Joey, Brittany, Matt, Kylee, Brooke, Karis, and Victoria, Maggie, Joshua, and Christophe; and four great-grandchildren, Maren, Parker, Owen, and Eliana.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Ray; sister, Gladys Walton of Coatesville; sister, Catherine Coy of Indianapolis; and his parents of Pittsboro.

Everett attended all 12 years of school at Pittsboro, graduating in 1957. He joined the U.S. Army Reserve in May 1957. He served at Ft. Carson, Colorado in 1957 and Fort Benning, Georgia in 1961. He worked in banking for most of his career. He retired from State Bank of Lizton after 20 years. He then worked for Davis Homes for 10 years as a punch out specialist. He enjoyed working with his hands and was skilled in many trades.

He married Jane on June, 11, 1994. He and Jane were members of Harmony Baptist Church in Avon, IN.

After retirement he enjoyed restoring furniture and always had several projects going at his home or homes of his children.

Friends and family will gather at Harmony of Avon Baptist Church for visitation, on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm, with the funeral service honoring Everett's life beginning at 12 pm. Everett will be laid to rest with military honors in West Ridge Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana, following the funeral service.
