David Bruce Mount, 61, of Brownsburg, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2026. He was born February 9, 1965, to Edward and Dorothy (Cook) Mount, and was the youngest of his family.

David lived with his mother until moving to a group home in Bargersville, Indiana. While there, he worked at Domino’s and held other jobs through the home's programs. Due to subsequent physical challenges, he later moved to Brownsburg Healthcare.

When David was young, he loved building things and mowing the yard. He had a wonderful sense of humor, always enjoying kidding around and laughing. David shared a deep bond with his mother and spoke to her almost every day. He also possessed a great appetite, with White Castle and China’s Best being among his favorite places to eat. Despite facing many physical struggles throughout his life, David maintained a remarkably keen memory for names, places, and dates. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy May (Cook) Mount. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Mount, and his brother, Jimmy Mount.

David will be entombed on June 9, 2026, at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. No public services are planned.
