In Loving Memory of David D. Breedlove
February 17, 1961 – October 16, 2026
David D. Breedlove, 65, passed away on October 16, 2026. Born on February 17, 1961, to Stanley and Janet Breedlove from Lizton, Indiana, David spent much of his life in Indianapolis before returning to his hometown of Lizton during the last two years of his life.
David was a man with a caring heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He had a way of bringing laughter to those around him, and his presence brought something special to the lives of the people who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, and the memories he created with family and friends. His laughter, his personality, and the love he shared will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
For many years, David worked as a concrete mason, dedicating himself to his trade and taking pride in his work. Outside of work, he found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. One of his greatest joys was fishing, where he could enjoy the peacefulness of the water and the moments that made life special.
David also had amazing handwriting, a natural talent for drawing, and a genuine love for art. He was gifted in a way that allowed him to bring his imagination to life through his drawings. His artistic ability was another special part of who he was, reflecting a creative side that those who knew him could appreciate. Like the memories he leaves behind, his drawings were a way of sharing a piece of himself with the world. His talent and creativity will be remembered as part of the unique person he was.
David is survived by his beloved mother, Janet Breedlove; his sister, Janell (Breedlove) Anderson, and her husband, James Anderson; his brother, Steve Breedlove, and his wife, Hilda Trampke; and his sister-in-law, Joellen Breedlove, the surviving spouse of his late brother, Kenneth Breedlove. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and one great-nephew, all of whom will carry his memory forward in their own special ways.
David was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Breedlove, and his brother, Kenneth Breedlove.
Arrangements are entrusted to Eric MD Bell Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest privately at Lizton K of P Cemetery, and no public services are planned at this time. All are encouraged to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of loss.
David will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest peacefully, David. May you find eternal peace, and may those who love you find strength and comfort in the memories you leave behind. You will always be loved, and you will never be forgotten.
