Clint A. Bailey

Clinton A. Bailey, 69, of Lizton, IN, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2026, in Avon, IN.  The following is an obituary written by his loving family.

He was born June 8, 1957, to Walter Bailey and Rosemary (Szewc) Bailey.  Clint graduated from North Salem High School in 1975.  On February 18, 1978, he married Christine Garland.  Clint and Christine were blessed with a son, Dustin, and a granddaughter, Anastasia.  Clint had several jobs, two of which were Carter Lumber in Indianpolis and Lastec in Pittsboro.  Clint's hobby was homing pigeons.  He also enjoyed slot car racing at his wife's Uncle Tom Smith's Track.  He was a loyal Colts fan.  

Clint is survived by his son, Dustin (Adrea) and granddaughter, Anastasia; a brother, Curt Bailey; and in-laws, Floyd and Loretta Garland; uncles; and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Christine; his parents; and brother-in-law, Michael Garland.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Lizton K of P Cemetery. Clint will be at rest beside his wife, Christine.  

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home.
