It is with deep sorrow and great love that we announce the passing of Benjamin Tello Amantecatl, a beloved husband, father, and pillar of strength, who departed this life surrounded by family.

Born with the heart of a servant and the hands of a craftsman, Benjamin was so much more than the titles he held. He was the rock of his family—quietly strong, deeply loving, and unwaveringly faithful. His life was defined by perseverance, generosity, and devotion to those he loved.

Benjamin was the proud father of four children. To his children, he was a superhero—not just for his ability to build and fix anything, but for his courage through life’s hardest trials. He stood tall in times of hardship and carried burdens not only with grace, but with purpose. When the family faced the devastating loss of his son Alex in New York, Benjamin led with compassion, helping his family begin again in Indianapolis. Though grieving, he created space for healing and growth, building a new chapter filled with hope.

Throughout life’s journey, Benjamin celebrated many joys with his family. He proudly walked his daughter Bonifacia down the aisle and rejoiced in the marriage of his son Benji, even when he couldn't be there in person. His love remained ever-present, steady, and deep. His son Juan, who continues to build his life in New York, holds close the strength and pride his father passed down.

By Benjamin’s side through every season was his devoted wife, Diega. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and shared faith. Together, they served their community, uplifted others through their work in church retreats, and built a home that was both spiritually and emotionally rich. Their marriage was a partnership rooted in prayer, purpose, and genuine joy.

Benjamin was a man of many talents—resourceful, inventive, and endlessly curious. If there was a way to build something, he would find it—often with a YouTube tutorial and a toolbox in hand. Known for his thriving garden and flavorful cooking, his dishes were as unforgettable as his jokes. “It’s good, right?” he’d say with a sly smile when asked about his secret ingredients.

He was faithful, strong, funny, and yes—a little stubborn. But his heart was vast, and his love was felt in every small act of care, every project made with his hands, and every life he touched.

Benjamin leaves behind a legacy of resilience, unity, and love. He built more than a home—he built a family. One bound by faith, held together by love, and forever shaped by his presence.

He is survived by his wife, Diega, and his children Bonifacia, Juan, and Benji. He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Alex.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in the gift of his life and the love he poured into each of us. His work on this earth is done, but his spirit lives on—in the stories we share, the values we carry, and the love that binds us.

Rest well, Dad. You did good.
