Avery Jean Spradlin

Avery Jean Spradlin, our precious little girl, was born at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis on September 21, 2026, at 9:58 p.m. Her little heart stopped beating at 10:18 p.m. We were blessed with 20 minutes with our little girl.

Avery is survived by her loving parents, Noah and Melanie Spradlin; her two fur sisters, Ellie and Bailey of North Salem; grandparents Michael and Michele Hammar of Roachdale, and Jody Spradlin of Martinsville; great-grandparents Michael and Barbara Schlagel of North Salem, John and Elizabeth Parsons of Indianapolis, and Gilbert and Linda Hawkins of Martinsville. Avery is survived by her aunts and uncles, Madelynn Hammar, Sarah Parsons, Kyle Parsons, Katlyn Spradlin, Josiah Spradlin, Nick (Faun) Spradlin, and Marty (Logan) Roembke. Avery is also survived by many cousins. Avery is preceded in death by her big brother, Clayton.

As we grieve the passing of our little girl Avery, and the life we had hoped to live and celebrate with her, she will always be in our hearts forever and always. She may have been on this earth for just a short time. Even though Avery’s life was brief, Avery lived a perfect life; all she knew was our love, and that we loved her. We will miss seeing the spunky little attitude she would give us on our ultrasounds. We find comfort knowing that she is now with her big brother, and we hope that they’re having the best time until we can join our babies. We are forever grateful to those who have supported our family in this difficult time as we find peace and comfort with the passing of our sweet girl.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time per the family's request.

In lieu of flowers, Melanie and Noah suggest that donations be made to lovelucas.org or to aapprom.org to help support families through perinatal loss, PPROM awareness, and pregnancy loss. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Eric MD Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hendricks County. All are encouraged to keep the family in your prayers during this very difficult time of loss.
